Translate In 2011, Google Creative Labs introduced a revolutionary new product with an incredibly simple proposition: Understand the words and you’ll understand the world. They asked JMS to imagine a marketing program for this idea. With that simple brief, the Google Translate campaign was born. The effort involved a poster series that worked as an internal effort within Google to rally awareness and support of this unique product.
This Exquisite Forest For the Private View of the collaborative storytelling show at London’s Tate Modern, we created 3 separate posters that made up one complete poster when assembled. The approach mirrored the concept of the show, where the public were invited to add to story “trees”, creating a larger community story.
