Parfum The launch campaign of Agent Provocateur’s first ever scent encompassed packaging, print advertising, a Soho store spectacular and other instore experiences. The theme was taken from the peepshows that were prevalent in Soho at the time, and was carried through from the packaging - an image was printed inside the slide-off peepshow sleeve, to stations in the Harvey Nichols store in London on the day of the launch.
Book When publisher Carlton Books approached Agent Provocateur to do a “story so far” book, I worked closely with the owners to sift through thousands of documents and photographs, and pull them together into a coherent narrative. Using their signature pink and black color scheme as a graphic underpinning, the book contained a fold out “film strip”, and other surprises, such as a facsimile of a letter written in the twenties, to tell the story of this iconic brand.
Sports Annual for girls Agent Provocateur delivered their catalogues in surprising ways. In this case we made a book based on the girls annuals from the 60’s with school prefect badges and a sports theme, brought to life by Tim Bret Day’s photography.
Catalogues I always looked for inventive ways of presenting Agent Provocateur’s catalogues. Here are two examples: a notional hotel brochure, featuring postcards to send; and a strip poker set, with the playing cards featuring underwear that I designed the graphics for.
