2K@15 Every New Year at JMS, we send clients a thought-provoking communication. In 2015, we imagined the current millennium as an adolescent, and talked to fellow 15 year olds about their experiences. As well as a large format book and poster, a web site was developed with videos, and an opportunity for vistors to “Tell us your 15”.
Field Day To celebrate JMS’ five year anniversary, we held a field day. The poster utilized a stylized tally mark, and the goody-filled tote bag had the JMS logo with the S overlaid by a figure 5 on one side, and the word “established” on the other with the full point containing 2009, the year of our founding. We wanted to celebrate the fact that after five years of hard work, we had arrived, and indeed had just broken into the top ten Bay Area agencies list.
Thursday Supper Every month, JMS hosts a supper for employees, clients, friends and family. Here’s a selection of some of the invitations, executed in JMS’ unique tone of voice and visual style.
CMO Collective JMS’ philosophy, “Everything is a chance to build a brand”, came to life with this giveaway at the CMO Collective conference. Photographed in our shoot space the Annex, our Motion and Image crew created the amazing illusion of multicolored spray paint, part of the JMS brand, hanging in the air. An engaging flip side showcased some of our work, along with sections like “5 great studios”, and a sample of some of Berkeley’s renowned bumper stickers.
New Year posters A few examples, ranging from recycling, John Lennon lyrics and a pun on 20/20 vision.
JMS Editorial A quarterly thought leadership piece, here’s the first, focused on content. This folded out from a 9x6" booklet into a poster that contained five interviews, and a larger provocative message.
Employee gift 2020 In the year of Covid-19, JMS wanted to reward our employees with a laundry detergent themed box as a lighthearted nod to wiping the slate clean for 2021. Everything in the box was white, and we also included a “No Mess” white T-shirt, referring to the fact that our holiday party (usually called the JMS Holiday Mess) was sadly cancelled.
